Microsoft Certified: AI Business Professional (AB-730) Exam

The AB?730 exam can be taken both online (proctored remotely) and at a physical test center. Microsoft allows candidates to choose the option that suits them best:

Online proctored – You can take the AB?730 exam from home or office under live monitoring using a webcam and secure browser.

Test center – You can go to an authorized testing center to take the exam in person with full proctor supervision.

This flexibility helps candidates select the environment they’re most comfortable with.

Here’s the AB?730 exam retake policy based on Microsoft’s official rules for certification exams:

If you don’t pass the exam on your first attempt, you must wait at least 24 hours before you can retake it.

If you still don’t pass on the second try, you must wait 14 days before scheduling the next attempt.

For every subsequent retake (third, fourth, fifth), a 14?day waiting period also applies.

You may not take the same exam more than five times within a 12?month period from your first attempt. If you reach five failures, you must wait 12 months from the first attempt before trying again.

Each retake requires registering (and paying) for the exam again, unless you have a voucher or an Exam Replay offer.

So you can retake AB?730 multiple times, but there are waiting periods, fees, and a yearly attempt limit.
